Sun-kissed skin and soft tussled curls. Crisp salty-sea air and warm sand. Flowing white dress and floral blooms that can withstand a summer’s day at the beach. These elements are essentials for any bride wishing to pull off the ultimate beach wedding during the warmer months of the year. If you’re not afraid of getting a little sand between your toes, and enjoy the great outdoors, this might be just the kind of wedding for you!
I love wedding dresses, but I’m not usually head over heels for all the dresses in one designer’s collections. My style is dreamy, romantic and elegant, and I find it very rare to find a whole collection of dresses from a single brand that meet my high expectations for a bride’s dress and her maids. But there is one designer that I believe has set themselves above the rest in giving brides beautiful gowns to wear on their special day, and ensuring the bridesmaids are left happy with their wedding attire. I feel like more people need to know about Alfred Angelo and the breath-taking dresses that come out of the company each season. If Alfred Angelo keeps making dresses that are the epitome of grace and beauty, there’s a good chance I might be wearing one from this designer’s collection when I tie the knot.

Frozen is by far one of my favourite movies hands down, and Elsa is one of my favourite Disney princesses. She’s got a fabulous sense of style, and if she were to get married, I could definitely see her having a winter wonderland wedding. Think soft blue tones with white and glittery silver details to create an enchantingly frosty atmosphere. Continue reading
Strictly speaking, a bride usually wears white on her wedding day. But for some women, that just isn’t them. And thankfully, many designers are thinking on the same wavelength. You can purchase or have a dress custom made in just about any colour – there really are no set rules anymore. But today I wanted to look at blush-coloured gowns. Traditionalists, look away right now, because these dresses defy the bridal gown’s typical colour chart. Continue reading
It’s no longer summer, but it’s not quite winter either. Here in Australia we call it Autumn, but in America it’s referred to as a Fall Wedding. Think warm colours against cool backdrops, with rustic details woven throughout. For me personally, the thought of a wedding in Autumn is the perfect season to say ‘I Do’. My guests won’t be freezing, I won’t be melting in the heat – plus my groom can comfortably wear a suit without the threat of heatstroke (it gets really warm Down Under)! Continue reading
Technology is a huge part of our lives as it makes it easier to connect and interact with those around us, particularly the ones we love the most. Weddings are similar in this sense – people close to the bride and groom come together to witness the most important day in two people’s lives. Continue reading
